Music and event marketing is where we got our start.

Initially offering copywriting, photography, social media management and web design services for artists and local music venues in Colorado, we grew to encompass promotional campaigns with large-scale festivals and national brands like LiveNation & AEG Presents. Back then, we were freelance and nameless.

Today, we’re Lake Country Digital and our Music & Event Marketing division focuses on the marketing efforts of concert venues and city-wide music initiatives through programming and meticulous strategic branding.

COjam: The Colorado Jam Scene

Founded in 2012, COjam: The Colorado Jam Scene is a digital space where the fans, bands and venues of Colorado can connect and revel in the local music scene. Within the thriving music community - especially the genres of rock, funk, bluegrass and improvisational music - COjam has been a driving force behind the dissemination of information, including new and featured artists, concerts, festivals and the music itself. Lake Country Digital (before we were Lake Country Digital) was behind COjam’s strategy and branding, website, social media and concert photography.

Mile High Spirits - Denver’s Distillery

Mile High Spirits isn’t just a successful distillery, they offer a wide array of live events as well. Lake Country Digital’s Eric Frank was at the root of MHS’s music program, developing their strategy, branding their signature event, “Bloodies & Bluegrass,” constructing their concert calendar and booking their artists. With this came heavy marketing on social media and digital channels as well as traditional print, affiliate and good old fashioned word of mouth marketing. Concert photography was also provided, proving that the job doesn’t end when the lights come up!

Spread the Word Music Festival

Spread the Word Music Festival was a city-wide extravaganza highlighting Colorado's thriving music scene. Held across roughly a dozen venues across the entire city of Denver, Lake Country Digital’s Eric Frank aided in cultivating a promotional campaign that utilized social media engagement, collaboration with artists and media outlets, email marketing and leveraging user-generated content.

Colorado Music Buzz Magazine

Colorado Music Buzz Magazine (CMB) is a digital and print publication meant to educate and inspire music enthusiasts about the vibrant and diverse musical talent that exists within Colorado. Pre-LCD, Eric aided in copywriting and distribution, providing a rich narrative coupled with best dissemination practices. CMB remains a prominent figure in the Colorado music culture.

Mile High Spirits Block Party

In 2018, Mile High Spirits threw their first Block Party in what would become an annual tradition. The festival took Denver’s EDM enthusiasts by storm, showcasing the genre’s top talent. Again, Eric Frank played a pivotal role in crafting a promotional strategy that harnessed the power of social media interaction, artist collaboration, media partnerships and the amplification of user-generated content.
